Piper, our new dog!
We’ve had Piper for a few weeks now, and she is great. The kids are getting used to having a very excitable puppy around, and Sarah is doing a great job starting to train her. Check out the gallery to see some pictures of her.

On my final full day of siteseeing I took a trip to the Isle of Skye on a cold and rainy day. Even with cloud cover all day it was stunning. Before heading for Skye we stopped at Urquhart Castle, and Eilean Donan Castle. And of course, more Hairy Cows!

Today was a travel day. I left Edinburgh and travelled to Inverness via rail. As a Wisconite who lived through Scott Walker’s teure as governor, riding the train brings about a wistful remembrance about what could have been. Regardless, the train is a great way to travel. I had
